The awards are presented annually during one of the days of either Independence day, Republic day or annual day celebrations.
Today, VRF has proudly instituted 135 Memorial Awards across

& recognising over 900 deserving students from the government and aided schools.
What is Memorial Awards?
Each Memorial Award constitutes a individual citation in the name of the fallen soldier and an endowment cheque that the veer nari (war widow) personally presents to the awardee every year.
She transforms her remembrance into meaningful giving, honouring her husband’ sacrifice while also shaping the future of deserving students.
Instituted in the name of a fallen soldier at their alma mater, each award recognises an exceptional student who exemplifies the qualities such as,
